(“Digifonica”) is an Internet Telecommunications Technology Provider (ITTP) and Internet Telecommunications Solutions Provider (ITSP), building and deploying next generation telecommunications needs. We offer a range of Internet telephony and mobile WiFi telephony (VoWiFi) solutions..
Digifonica partners with Internet telephony service providers enabling partners to provide telephony services to subscribers under their own branding.

About this Privacy Statement

This privacy statement details how Digifonica collects and uses your personal information. Please be sure to read this statement carefully to understand how your personal information is accessed and the purposes for which it is used. Digifonica does not trade, sell, or publish your personal information without your personal consent.
Any third-party links you may access from the same browser are not governed by the Digifonica Privacy Statement. In addition, this statement does not detail privacy policies adopted by our partners who are the ultimate Internet telephony service providers. Subscribers to our partners’ Internet telephony services must refer to our partners’ privacy statements and user agreements.
“Digifonica,” “we,” “us,” and “our” are used to refer to both Digifonica International Inc. and its subsidiaries. “Visitors” refers to visitors to the Digifonica website. “Subscribers” refers to the end-users of Digifonica’s Internet telephony network and solutions.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

At this point of time, Digifonica does not collect personal information from our company website (http://www.digifonica.com). This may change in the future and the policy will be revised to update any system changes. However, should you choose to contact us requesting information or a proposal, we might need to collect personal information by phone, email, written memos, or fax for our official records. Information collected could include your name, organization name, organization-specific details, personal or organizational address, personal or organizational telephone/fax numbers, contact email addresses, or website/service feedback. For business partners or users seeking a service from Digifonica, payment information such as a credit card number might be collected. The information collected is treated as confidential and is not shared beyond a “need-to-know” group. Digifonica’s partners are required to collect personal information for shipping, billing, telephony services, and emergency services. Information in this privacy statement is not relevant to our partners’ services. If you need specific privacy information about our partners’ services, please refer to the privacy statements, legal notices, and user agreements on our partner websites. Digifonica is not liable for any misuse, mishandling, or leakage of personal information by our partners. Digifonica’s Internet telephony network stores call information including duration, location, numbers, and charges in order to generate billing statements for our partners. Digifonica might also be able to access user information that you enter on our partner websites. The information is used solely to plan for future system requirements, generate billing statements, create subscriber communication, and arrange number assignments. On occasion, entire calls on our network might be recorded under instructions from legal, regulatory, or governmental bodies, and handed over to these bodies for legislation purposes. In the event of malicious or nuisance calling, regulatory authorities require us to maintain a record of numbers that have abused the service. Digifonica might also be required to store records of point-of-signature subscriber sign-offs on our partner websites to be in compliance with telecommunications regulations. For emergency services, subscribers are responsible to ensure that valid location information has been provided and the information is up-to-date.Digifonica does not store any user information except information needed for business or legal purposes. Digifonica reserves the right to disclose information about website usage if required by legal, regulatory, or governmental authorities. 

Collection of Website Usage Statistics

As an initiative to improve our website and service offerings, Digifonica might choose to collect statistical data on website visitors including number of visitors, usage patterns, most-accessed information, and duration of visit. This information might be used to plan upgrades to our website and marketing strategies. In addition, our network stores details about sessions you initiate on our website or partner websites. No part of this information will be published or used for commercial purposes. The information will only be used to improve the quality and security of Internet telephony services for end subscribers. Digifonica will not be able to track your website or Internet usage, or any other personal information on your computer. However, please be aware that your computer might store “cookies” or other such identifiers. Remember to periodically delete cookies using your browser options. Digifonica cannot access any cookies on your computer, and is not responsible for misuse that happens outside our network. Users should be aware that our systems (and external systems) might record IP addresses and other means of identifying access to our website. Any such “trace” data recorded in Digifonica systems will not be stored or used. In addition, Digifonica will not use this data to contact you to solicit any kind of information or service.

Spyware Zero Tolerance Policy

Digifonica recognizes the threat of spyware running over public networks, particularly the internet. Installing or using spyware on the Digifonica network is a legal offense. If a third party, user, partner, investor, or malicious user is found to be using spyware to monitor user or network activity; the user(s) will be subject to severe legal action.

Sharing User Information

Digifonica will not publish any personal information about subscribers, partners, or investors on any public forum or website. Partners might share personal user information with Digifonica on occasion, based on a business or system need. However, Digifonica will not provide any personal information about website visitors, investors, or partners to other partners or users unless driven by a legal or regulatory requirement. Digifonica does not accept liability for any compromise in user information that has not originated within Digifonica International Inc.

Security

Digifonica’s Internet telephony framework is equipped with security features designed to minimize risks to personal and sensitive information. However, any information exchanged over the internet is subject to the risk of third-party access and abuse. By reading this, you are confirming that you are aware of third-party risks to your personal information and accept the terms of service specified in any contract you enter into with Digifonica.              

Third-party Website Usage

Occasionally, links to third-party sites are published on the Digifonica website. In such situations, Digifonica is not responsible for any losses or damage encountered from visiting the third-party site. Any third-party websites that you visit from our website or using the same browser window are not in the scope of the Digifonica Privacy Statement. Please exercise caution when using third-party sites or providing personal information. Digifonica is not responsible or liable for any third-party tracking or monitoring of users’ website usage that might occur without Digifonica’s consent or knowledge.

Marketing and Telemarketing

Digifonica does not direct-market to subscribers using telemarketing calls. Any calls received from third parties claiming to represent Digifonica are fraudulent and should be disregarded. Digifonica does not initiate or handle communication with end-subscribers –communication is handled directly by partners. Digifonica is not liable for any losses encountered if you enter into “good-faith” transactions with fraudulent vendors. We also encourage you to notify us in the event that you receive telemarketing calls (or even emails) representing Digifonica that solicit personal or financial information. Please use discretion when providing such information.
