Jeff Bates, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Jeff Bates is a British-educated and qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). Prior to joining Digifonica, Mr. Bates spent three years as the Commercial and Financial Controller with Damovo UK Limited, a telecom industry communications solutions provider. Mr. Bates also worked with KPMG (both in the UK and in Vancouver) for almost ten years for the Information, Communications and Entertainment groups. 

Emil Bjorsell, Director, Operations
Emil is an Information Technology specialist and founding member of the original Digifonica team. His software architecture, development, and InfoSec skills are drawn from the financial, e-commerce, and telecommunications sectors, with operative experience gained from the ISP sector.

Maksym Sobolyev, Director, New Product Innovation
Maksym is a veteran VoIP architect, development specialist, and author of specialized proxy SIP software used by the VoIP open source community. He has co-founded several start-ups, including a leading VoIP billing application provider and a hybrid VoIP PBX solution.

Estrellita Gonzalez, Director, Administration and Human Resources
Estrellita is an entrepreneurial and seasoned professional with over 15 years experience managing teams and implementing progressive human resource and marketing practices. 

Pentti Huttunen, Director, Research & Development
Pentti is an experienced R&D professional with a Ph.D. in parallel and distributed computing. He has over 10 years of research and development experience in the telecommunications sector and has worked for Nokia, Intel, and Cray in Europe and North America.
